Carmen Smith of Plaid Cymru is now officially Baroness Smith in the House of Lords. The 28-year-old is the youngest person ever to hold such a title. Carmen Smith is also the youngest life peer in the world at 28 years old. She will be the first Welsh woman to hold the title of a life peer.
