In Sarajevo, thousands of shoes have been carefully arranged along the city streets to remember those who perished during the Bosnian war. Thousands of pairs of shoes placed on streets to remember victims' of siege of Sarajevo 32 years on. Over 11,500 pairs have been laid in streets of city as part of installation called 'Path of Remembrance' in memory of those who did not survive the longest military siege in modern history.
