The artist clothing London's brutalist icon is from Africa

Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama gives a well-loved London landmark a bold pink makeover. The brutalist icon has been given a makeover by the Ghanaian designer. The work includes clothing the brutalist London landmark in a pink shade of shade. The project is a collaboration between Ghanaian and London-based artist Ibrahim Mahama.

Ibrahim Mahama's work spans about 2,000 sq m and is made from traditional Ghanaian robes. The work is made of traditional robes and is covered in purple Hibiscus. The artwork was commissioned by the artist and is set to go on display at the Barbican.
