Novo Nordisk owner invests millions in quantum computing

Novo Holdings, the parent company of the maker of weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy, is investing millions to create a global innovation hub for quantum technology in Denmark.

Danish obesity drugmaker Novo Nordisk to invest $200 million in quantum computing startups. Experts believe quantum computing may prove to be among the most transformational technological developments of the 21st century. Novo Holdings has 77% of voting shares in Danish drug maker Novo.
