Long-time TV presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford announce divorce after 14 years

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who used to host This Morning on ITV together, are getting a divorce after being married for 14 years. They have confirmed this through a spokesperson. The couple, both 64 years old, have decided to end their marriage and are in the process of getting a divorce. They have one son named Jack, born in 2002. Eamonn Holmes has three other children from his previous marriage to Gabrielle Holmes, whom he married in 1985. The reason for their divorce seems to be that their work led them in different directions, causing them to drift apart. Eamonn Holmes joined GB News in 2021, while Ruth Langsford is a regular panel member on ITV's Loose Women. They started presenting This Morning together in 2006 and left the show in 2021, being replaced by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond. Additionally, they have worked together on Channel 5 shows like How The Other Half Lives and Do The Right Thing With Eamonn And Ruth. Their split was first reported by The Sun on Sunday. The couple's wedding was attended by TV personalities like Gloria Hunniford and Jeremy Kyle, actress Zoe Lucker, and boxer Barry McGuigan. Eamonn Holmes received an OBE in the 2018 New Year Honours for his contributions to broadcasting. Ruth Langsford, who has also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with Anton Du Beke before he became a judge on the show.
