Emma Raducanu hopeful for Wimbledon return after French Open withdrawal

This means he wants to compete in the Wimbledon tennis tournament. Emma Raducanu, the 2021 US Open champion, decided not to participate in the French Open this year. She made this choice to focus on training for upcoming tournaments like Wimbledon and the American hard court swing. Raducanu, who is also 21 years old, had missed Wimbledon last year due to surgery on her ankle and wrists. She might need a wild card to enter this year's Wimbledon. Even though Raducanu hasn't played competitively since mid-April, she feels confident about her form for Wimbledon. She believes in her abilities and hard work, saying she is ready to perform well. Raducanu is looking forward to playing in front of her home crowd at Wimbledon, which starts on 1 July. Before her success at the US Open, Raducanu reached the fourth round of Wimbledon a few months earlier. However, in 2022, she only made it to the second round. This season, she played for Great Britain in a Billie Jean King Cup win over France. After facing physical and emotional exhaustion following a loss in Madrid last month, Raducanu took a break from tour matches. She is now training on grass courts for the upcoming British summer tournaments, starting with the Nottingham Open on 8 June.
