Story

In a rare collaboration, basketball legends LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant have come together to create a unique collectible trading card commemorating their time at the Paris Olympics. This one-of-a-kind Topps trading card features the trio in their Team USA uniforms and will be autographed by all three players. The card will be awarded to a random customer who purchases the base card from Topps, which retails for $11.99. Clay Luraschi, senior vice president of product at Topps, emphasized the significance of this card, noting that it celebrates a historic moment in basketball where three of the greatest players united to win a gold medal. This card is particularly special as it marks the first time James, Curry, and Durant have signed the same card, making it a unique addition to any collection. The purchasing window for the base card opened shortly after the U.S. men's basketball team secured their gold medal with a 98-87 victory over France. The window will close on Tuesday at 6:20 p.m. ET, after which Topps will randomly pair a redemption card for the autographed version with a lucky buyer. Ken Goldin, founder and CEO of Goldin Auctions, estimated the card's value could reach six figures, although its worth may be limited since it is not a pack-pulled card. Luraschi highlighted the impact of Topps Now, a program launched in 2016 that has transformed the trading card industry through on-demand production and faster delivery to consumers.
