Walton Goggins, known for his role in HBO's acclaimed series "The White Lotus," recently appeared on "The Late Show" with Stephen Colbert, where he discussed his experiences filming the show's third season in Thailand. The actor, who has been working on the series for the past six months, humorously recounted the staggering hotel expenses he incurred during his stay at the luxurious resort featured in the show. While he remained tight-lipped about his character's storyline, Goggins emphasized the show's creator, Mike White's, strict confidentiality regarding plot details. Goggins revealed that while HBO covered his accommodation costs, the cast was responsible for their incidental expenses, which quickly added up. He shared a light-hearted anecdote about receiving his bill after six weeks of filming, expressing disbelief at the charges for seemingly ordinary items. "I started laughing like, 'Ha, yeah right - you guys are joking!'" he recalled, particularly astonished by the cost of Thai spiced cashews, which he thought he had only consumed a few of, but was informed he had eaten thirty. The actor also mentioned other pricey items, including a $150 bottle of Prosecco and club sandwiches, highlighting the extravagant nature of the resort. Despite the hefty bills, Goggins described the filming experience as enjoyable, stating, "It was a good time, it was a really good time." The third season features a star-studded cast, including Scott Glenn, Carrie Coon, and Blackpink's Lisa, among others.
