Second Police Officer Under Investigation for Airport Assault

This referral prompted the IOPC to expand their investigation to include a second officer, who is also being scrutinized for potential gross misconduct related to breaches of police professional standards, particularly concerning the use of force. The investigation will examine the actions taken against three members of the public—two men and a woman—who were involved in the incident, during which the two men were arrested. Furthermore, the inquiry will assess the use of force in a subsequent incident that occurred shortly after, where one of the individuals was reportedly pepper-sprayed.
