A murder investigation is underway following the death of 33-year-old Andrew Main, who succumbed to injuries sustained in a serious assault four weeks prior. Main, originally from Falkirk, passed away in the hospital on Wednesday after being attacked near the Travelodge on Princess Way in Swansea during the early hours of July 17. South Wales Police have already charged two men in connection with the incident: a 26-year-old from Frome, Somerset, and a 27-year-old from Bath. Detective Chief Inspector Matt Davies expressed condolences to Main's family, emphasizing the seriousness of the case. In a heartfelt tribute, family friend Nicola Whelan has initiated a fundraising campaign to support Main's family.
