South Wales Police have already charged two men in connection with the incident: a 26-year-old from Frome, Somerset, and a 27-year-old from Bath. Detective Chief Inspector Matt Davies expressed condolences to Main's family, emphasizing the seriousness of the case. In a heartfelt tribute, family friend Nicola Whelan has initiated a fundraising campaign to support Main's family. She described him as a "hero," highlighting his fun-loving nature and dedication as a father, brother, and friend. Whelan stated, "We cannot put into words how much he will be missed," underscoring the profound impact Main had on those around him. Authorities are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information regarding the assault, as the investigation continues to seek justice for Andrew Main and his grieving family.
