McNeese dominates Alcorn State with McDowell’s 3 TDs

On Saturday night in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Clifton McDowell led the McNeese Cowboys to a decisive 42-14 victory over Alcorn State. McDowell's performance was pivotal, as he threw for two touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities. The Cowboys quickly established dominance, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 50-yard touchdown pass to Kameran Senegal and a five-yard run by Jason Barbie. McDowell completed 15 of 21 passes for 229 yards, with one interception, while also contributing 78 rushing yards on eight carries.
