Story

Temecula, CA – A motorcyclist was briefly trapped under a big rig following a three-vehicle accident on the 15 Freeway on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the Temecula Parkway ramp, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). According to officers, the motorcyclist was attempting to change lanes, likely to exit the freeway, when he collided with the semi-truck and ended up underneath it. Simultaneously, a GMC pickup truck also struck the big rig, contributing to the multi-vehicle crash. Fortunately, several good Samaritans quickly came to the motorcyclist's aid, managing to pull him from beneath the 18-wheeler. Despite sustaining injuries deemed minor, the motorcyclist declined transport to a nearby hospital by Riverside County Fire Department paramedics. The drivers of both the pickup truck and the big rig were unharmed in the incident. Following the crash, the northbound slow lane was temporarily closed for the CHP's investigation but has since been reopened to traffic.
