Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón is set to announce criminal charges related to the death of former "General Hospital" actor, who was fatally shot in May. The announcement will take place during a press conference scheduled for 3 p.m. on August 19th, in front of the Hall of Justice. This follows the recent arrests of four individuals connected to the case, which has garnered significant public attention. The suspects, identified by the LAPD, include 18-year-olds Robert Barceleau, Leonel Gutierrez, and Sergio Estrada, all of whom have been charged with murder. Additionally, 22-year-old Frank Olano has been booked as an accessory to the crime. These arrests were made on August 15th, just days before the anticipated announcement of formal charges by Gascón's office. The victim, 37-year-old Wactor, was shot on May 25 in downtown Los Angeles after finishing his bartending shift. Authorities report that he was targeted by the suspects while they attempted to steal his catalytic converter as he walked to his car at the intersection of Hope Street and Pico Boulevard. Tragically, Wactor would have celebrated his 38th birthday this month. Wactor was known for his role as Brando Corbin on "General Hospital," where he appeared in nearly 200 episodes. He also had guest roles in popular series such as "Westworld," "NCIS," and "Criminal Minds," leaving behind a legacy in the entertainment industry.
