Cade McNamara Set to Lead Iowa as Starting Quarterback Despite Injury Concerns

INDIANAPOLIS – Iowa Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz announced on Wednesday that quarterback Cade McNamara will enter training camp as the team's starting quarterback. McNamara, who previously led Michigan to the 2021 Big Ten championship, transferred to Iowa in late 2022. His season was cut short last year due to a torn ACL after starting the first five games.
