In downtown Nashville, a significant development is underway as Goettsch Partners plans to construct the Paramount, a 60-story tower that will reach a height of 750 feet. This ambitious project was initiated in 2021, following a request for proposal process by the YMCA of Nashville for the renovation and expansion of their existing facility. The design includes a five-story addition to the YMCA and the new tower, which will redefine the skyline of the area. The Paramount will not only surpass the AT&T Building, currently the tallest at 617 feet, but it will also feature a range of amenities aimed at enhancing the living experience for its residents. These include a lounge, fitness and yoga rooms, a game room, and a large outdoor deck with a pool. Additionally, dedicated condo amenities will be available on the 40th level, providing residents with exclusive spaces for relaxation and social gatherings. As of now, the site is undergoing excavation, with full construction expected to commence later this year. The completion of the Paramount is anticipated by 2027, marking a significant milestone in Nashville's urban development. Tony Giarratana, president of Giarratana, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, hoping it will become a treasured landmark for the city. The development reflects Nashville's ongoing growth and transformation, positioning it as a vibrant urban center with modern architectural achievements.
