Ezra Collective to Headline Wild Fields Festival in Norwich

The inaugural Wild Fields Festival kicked off on Friday at Earlham Park in Norwich, offering a "curated journey" of music and experiences. The two-day event is headlined by the acclaimed Ezra Collective, winners of the 2023 Mercury Prize, and features a diverse lineup including SBTRKT, Kae Tempest, and Sampa The Great. Organiser Ben Streets expressed his excitement about the festival, which builds on the success of the Wild Path multi-venue event that began in 2019. Streets emphasized the festival's focus on community, stating that it aims to replicate the connections formed during the Wild Path events. He described the festival as an opportunity to bring people together in a vibrant outdoor setting, enhancing the live music experience. The festival also showcases a commitment to sustainability, partnering with Climate Live UK to incorporate a solar-powered bus stage into the event. The festival's programming extends beyond music, featuring poetry performances, debates, and wellness sessions, creating a multifaceted cultural experience. Streets highlighted the importance of curating an eclectic mix of artists, aiming to immerse attendees in a variety of artistic expressions throughout the day.
