Harbin festival showcases stunning ice sculptures in deadly -25°C temperatures

Harbin, located in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, celebrated the grand opening of the 26th edition of Harbin Ice and Snow World on December 21, 2024. Known as the 'ice city', Harbin is famous for its incredible winter attractions and extreme cold weather, which allows for the formation of unique ice shapes that mesmerize visitors. The festival displayed a variety of winter-themed attractions, drawing a large crowd that eagerly awaited the opportunity to experience the popular ice slides and snow sculptures.
