Doug Burgum won't seek a third term as governor of North Dakota

Air Force veteran Michael Coachman of Larimore, North Dakota, announced Tuesday his independent campaign for the governorship. Coachman is a former Air Force vet who served in the U.S. Air Force in the Air Force. North Dakota's governor is currently a Republican.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, a former presidential candidate, will not seek a third term. Burgum announced Monday morning that he will not run for third term in office. The governor announced his decision to not seek third term on Monday morning. He is a two-term North Dakota governor.
