The leader of the House Republican reverses retirement plans after being urged by Trump

Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green announced he is reversing his decision to not seek a fourth term in the House. Green is the chairman of the Republican-led Homeland Security committee. Green will serve a four-term term until 2020. Green was elected to the House in 2010.

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., says she will not be seeking re-election to the House. She said in a statement that she made the decision after "prayer and reflection" The decision was made following "prayers and reflection," she said.
