The parent company of Applebee's may open joint restaurants in the US

We’ve all seen the combination Taco Bell and KFC, or the joint Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon. Now another dual-branded restaurant could enter the US dining landscape.

Applebee's, IHOP parent weighing joint restaurants for US market. Dine Brands Global is "contemplat[ing] introducing this concept" of joint restaurants in America. CEO John Peyton told analysts last week that Applebee’s and Dine is considering joint restaurants.
