Holyrood rules were broken by Michael Matheson over the iPad bill

Michael Matheson racked up almost £11,000 on parliamentary iPad. He resigned as Scotland's health secretary last month. He breached code of conduct over spending on the iPad. The former health secretary spent almost £10,000 a year on the device. He has since resigned from his post as health secretary.

Michael Matheson took the parliamentary iPad with him on a week-long visit to Morocco. His roaming charges for the iPad - not phone calls - totalled nearly £11,000. Holyrood MP's iPad was taken to Morocco with his family around Christmas 2022.
