Shakespeare for children is a radical new form of the Bard
Pittsburgh's Shakespeare in the Park is celebrating 20 years! Stoney Richards and Jennifer Tober are once again the brains behind a new play. The event celebrates 20 years since it was founded by Stoney and Jennifer. Richards and Tober have been involved in the play for 20 years.
This edition, abridged by scholar Anjna Chouhan and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, manages to preserve astounding amounts of poetry. It’s Shakespeare for children – but in a radical new form. The new edition is published by the Trust and is published in September 2015.
Today marks the start of Shakespeare Week, an annual celebration of the world famous writer. Eamonn says Shakespeare is 'no longer relevant' to Gen Z. The Apprentice star Ryan-Mark Parsons has also clashed with presenter Isabel Webster. This comes as Shakespeare Week is celebrated in schools across the world.
