Placer County is trying to rezone agricultural, residential land for new affordable housing

Community of unincorporated Placer County pushing back on rush to rezone agricultural land west of Roseville. Community wants to build new high-density affordable housing units. The land will be rezoned for agricultural, residential land to build high-income housing units, officials say.

Community turns out to debate proposed rezoning in Placer County. Debate in the county is over some proposed housing in the shape of some of the country's most expensive homes. The debate was held on Wednesday night at a meeting in the community center in the town hall.
