The capital city of La Paz is flooded by the river

Heavy rain fall in Bolivia's capital city, La Paz, caused rivers to flood and the water level in reservoirs to rise. Water spilled on to low-lying neighborhoods on Wednesday. Huge waves overcome the streets after heavy rain falls in the capital city of Bolivia. Water levels in reservoirs are rising as water levels rise in the reservoirs.

Excess rainfall has caused eight of the 10 reservoirs that supply water to La Paz and neighbouring city of El Alto to overflow. The city's low-lying neighbourhoods have been flooded by the overflowing rivers. Eight of the ten reservoirs supplying water to the city and neighbouring El Alto are overflowing.
