Norfolk State Spartans beat Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons 75-67 for CIT championship. Christian Ings led the scoring for the Spartans. Ings' 17 points led the Spartans to the victory in the CIT title game. The Spartans won the tournament by a double-digit margin of 75 points.

Norfolk State Spartans defeated Alabama A&M Bulldogs 81-66 in the CIT. Allen Betrand led the Spartans to victory. The Spartans head to CIT championship after the win over the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs will play for the title in the next two weeks.
