Caroline Garcia defeated U.S. Open champion Coco Gauff to reach the quarterfinals at the Miami Open. South Florida's Gauff ousted from Miami Open after losing to Garcia in the first round. Garcia reached the last eight of the tournament in Miami, beating Gauff in straight sets.
