DJ Tony Blackburn says goodbye to BBC local radio after 43 years. 81-year-old ends his show covering BBC Radio Berkshire, BBC Oxford and BBC Solent. DJ has been on the BBC for more than 40 years and has appeared on BBC Radio 4 since 1983.

Tony Blackburn ends his show covering BBC Radio Berkshire, BBC Oxford and BBC Solent. The 81-year-old is retiring from his show at the age of 81. He will continue to appear on BBC Radio 3 and 5 on Saturday and Sunday nights at 8.30pm.
