Almost no fixed-rate energy deals are cheaper than the Ofgem price cap

Most fixed-rate tariffs on the market are not as cheap as price-capped bills. Ofgem price cap is set at Ofgem, but almost every deal is cheaper than the cap. Research from Warm This Winter found that most of the 383 fixed rate tariffs on market come with high exit fees.
