A teacher is hiding after showing a cartoon of the prophet Muhammad

Teacher suspended in 2021 after furore erupted over the use of a cartoon of Mohammed. Three years on, the religious studies teacher is still living under an assumed name. Teacher was suspended from teaching in 2011 and is living under assumed name three years on. Furore broke out after teacher showed Mohammed cartoon to pupils at school.

The religious studies teacher was forced to move away from Batley Grammar School in West Yorkshire. The then 30-year-old had been suspended for showing a cartoon of the prophet. He has since been forced to assume a new identity after the incident. The teacher was suspended from his job at the time of the incident at the school in Yorkshire.
