Kosovo will conduct a census that will include the ethnic Serb minority

Serb-majority areas vote on Albanian mayors' fate in Kosovo referendum. The ballot follows mayoral elections last April which were boycotted by ethnic Serbs as part of a campaign for greater autonomy. Last April's elections in Serbs-dominated areas were boy cotted by Serbs in a bid to gain more autonomy.

Kosovo’s government has begun its first nationwide census since 2011. The census will include surveying the ethnic Serb minority in the north of the country. Kosovo will conduct a nationwide census that includes surveying ethnic Serbs in the country's north. The country's first census will be conducted in Kosovo's north of Albania.
