A suspected drunken driver plunges off the Monterey wharf into the ocean with 3 passengers

Martin Urroz sped down a Monterey wharf as police attempted to catch him, sending the car into the water and forcing his three passengers to tread water as they waited for help. The three passengers were forced to swim in the water as the car was driven off the wharf.

Suspected drunken driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He allegedly drove off a wharf in Monterey and into the ocean while fleeing police. Police say he was fleeing police when he allegedly drove into the water with 3 passengers. The man was arrested Sunday morning.
