The trial for the ex-FBI mole accused of making up the Biden bribery story was delayed until after the election

Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson are demanding the FBI make Alexander Smirnov’s handling agent and his superiors available for interviews. They are investigating what steps the bureau and the Justice Department took to investigate the now-infamous FD-1023 form alleging a criminal bribery scheme involving Joe Biden and Ukraine.

Alexander Smirnov's trial delayed until after 2024 election. Special counsel David Weiss filed charges against him after special counsel filed charges. Smirnova is accused of fabricating a bribery story involving Vice President Joe Biden. The trial was scheduled to begin Monday in Los Angeles.
