Nuala McGovern has been named as the new host of Woman's Hour

Nuala McGovern named as new Woman's Hour host after Emma Barnett quits. The Irish broadcaster is set to join the line-up on BBC Radio 4's Radio 4 programme. Emma Barnett's departure follows the departure of Nuala McGovern as host.

Barnett, 39, has hosted the Radio 4 show since 2021. She is set to join the Today Programme from May, replacing Martha Kearney. Barnett, originally from Manchester, will replace Kearney in May. She will be the first presenter to take over from the Today programme.
