The Illinois man was charged with rape

Thomas West, 36, of Calumet Park, Illinois, was charged Tuesday with multiple felonies. He faces two counts of rape, both Level 3 felonies; one count of criminal confinement, a Level 5 felony; one. count of strangulation, a. Level 6 felony; and two. counts of intimidation.
