The One Day author’s new will-they-won’t-they tale, about two divorcees who find themselves walking the Lakes and Pennines, is a great comic novel – and superb on the landscape. The novel is about a divorcee and a pair of divorcees.

The wife had to wonder if the marriage had been a mistake. “Late Love’s” by Joyce Carol Oates is a novel by Oates. Oates' novel, "Late Love," was published in 1996 and published in 1998. The novel is now published in New York and London.
