Canadian miner Barrick Gold reports lower preliminary gold, copper output for Q1. Company reported total output of 940,000 ounces of gold and 40,000 tonnes of copper in the three months ended March 31. Company: Lower grades and maintenance at its mines hurt by lower grades.
