Michael Gove is working to block the demolition of the Museum of London

Michael Gove lays groundwork to block demolition of Museum of London. Levelling Up Secretary issued a ‘holding direction’ for the museum's demolition. Michael Gove pauses plan to tear down Museum of London and London Wall West. City of London Corporation's councillors signed off on the plan. Gove has issued a 'holding directive' on the controversial plan to demolish the wall. City Council has signed off the plan even though it is not yet clear if it will be demolished.
