John Adams' Nativity oratorio 'El Nino' returns to the Metropolitan Opera for the first time in a decade. Adams' work is returning to the Met for the last time in 10 years in a new staging of his Nativity Oratorio. Adams’ work is set to be re-staged at the Met with a colorful staging.

John Adams' Nativity oratorio 'El Nino' opens April 23 at the Met. It's a retelling of Jesus' birth and early life through Latin American poetry and biblical verses. Opening night will be April 23, opening night is April 23. The opera is based in New York.
