Families bake matzah as a learning opportunity and tradition at Passover. Chabad of Northbrook presented and sponsored the Family Matzah Bake. The event took place at Mariano’s grocery store in Northbrook on April 15. The matzahs are part of a Passover tradition.

Children learn matzo making and Passover's traditions ahead of the Jewish holiday. First graders from Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School of the Nation’s Capital had just 18 minutes to prepare and cook the cracker-like, unleavened Passover staple.
