Colorado Senate pays tribute to "living legend" Dr. Reginald Washington. Dr. Washington was Colorado's first elected governor. The Colorado Senate took time Monday to honor him. Washington was a pioneer in Colorado and Colorado politics. He died at 93 years old. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Reginald Washington has been a pediatric cardiologist for nearly 50 years. He has been Chief Medical Officer at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children and Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Washington is retiring after more than 50 years of taking care of kids.
