A British tourist was saved by a Marks and Spencer jacket

A British holidaymaker who was mauled by a brown bear in Romania claims her thick Marks & Spencer coat saved her life.

Moira Gallacher, 72, was attacked by a brown bear in the Romanian mountains. The pensioner was on holiday with her friend Charmian Widdowson in the country. She was wearing a Marks and Spencer coat when she was attacked. The bear attacked her in the mountains while she was in Romania with Charmian.
