The Save the Children ambassador visited a maternal health clinic

24 million women will give birth this year without the support of a doctor, midwife or nurse. That’s 46 births a minute, making mothers and children more vulnerable than ever. International Day of the Midwife is on Sunday 5 May. Campaign aims to create lasting change for children around the world.

The TV personality, 46, met with vulnerable pregnant women as well as brave midwives as she travelled to a Save The Children emergency unit in the La Guajira region.
