Match posts a sixth straight decline in the number of users

Match Group, the company that owns several dating apps, including Tinder and Hinge, released its first-quarter earnings report on Tuesday, which shows While Tinder struggles to retain paying users, Hinge has seen an increase in members who are willing to pay for the app.

Match Group Inc. said the number of paying users on Tinder, its largest dating app, fell for the sixth straight quarter. Shares slid 5%.
