A police officer who was shot in the leg with a crossbow, and a man in his 60s who was stabbed during an incident in High Wycombe, have been discharged from hospital. Thames Valley Police's Assistant Chief Constable Tim Metcalfe said a 54-year-old man, from High Wycombe, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder remained in hospital under police supervision.
