There is a video showing a knife attack near Times Square by a homeless man with a history of mental health issues

Cyril Destin, 62, was charged in connection with the shocking caught-on-video knifing of a 36-year-old Pennsylvania woman who was strolling with her daughter Saturday evening at West 43rd Street and Eighth Avenue, police said Monday.

A 61-year-old man was arrested Saturday following an unprovoked knife attack near Times Square, the NYPD says.

Video of Saturday evening's attack shows the man using a walker to exit a deli on West 43rd and Eighth Avenue and loitering outside the storefront before lunging at an unsuspecting woman on the sidewalk.

The NYPD says a tourist was the victim of an unprovoked knife attack at Eighth Avenue and West 43rd Street on Saturday afternoon. CBS New York's Derick Waller reports.
