Windows PC users on red alert! Dell confirms names and addresses of 49 million customers were stolen

Dell has issued a warning to customers who have recently purchased a Windows 11 laptop, Windows 10 desktop PC, external monitor, mouse, or other popular computer accessories from the brand due to a breach in its system that saw 49 million Dell customers' data shared on the dark web. Names and addresses were published online in the data breach

The computing giant said it was investigating a data breach which compromised ‘limited’ customer information such as name and physical address.

Dell Technologies confirmed it is investigating a data breach of a portal with access to customer information, and that it has contacted law enforcement.
