The lawsuit alleges that two deans at MIT are plagiarists

Two of MIT's post-George Floyd summer DEI dean hires have been accused of plagiarizing significant portions of their graduate theses.

According to a 56-page complaint filed with the university on Saturday, at least two of six DEI officials that MIT hired in 2021 may not be living up to that standard. The complaint alleges that Tracie Jones-Barrett and Alana Anderson are serial plagiarists, copying entire pages of text without attribution and riding roughshod over MIT’s academic integrity policies.
