7 people face charges after pro-Palestinian protest at Penn, encampment opens at Drexel

Seven people remain in custody following a protest on Penn's campus Friday, where 19 demonstrators were arrested after trying to occupy Fisher-Bennett Hall, a university spokesperson said.

University of Pennsylvania officials say 19 people, including students, were arrested after attempting to break in and occupy Fisher Bennett Hall Friday night, and seven people are currently still facing felony charges. A pro-Palestinian encampment also opened on Drexel University's campus on Saturday.
