International Criminal Court's Chief prosecutor Karim Khan requested arrest warrants for Gallant and Israeli Prime Minister Benjammin Netanyahu. The ICC's request for arrest warrants also included Hamas leaders for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Hamas leaders also wanted to be held accountable for the crimes of war crimes.
