A car chase happened in South Los Angeles. The police were following a driver who broke a driving rule around 1:45 a.m. The driver crashed into a building at 206 E. 23rd Street. The car caught fire, and the fire spread to the building. The fire department came quickly and put out the fire in about 20 minutes. Two of the four people in the car were taken to the hospital. They were hurt but in fair condition. The other two people didn't need to go to the hospital. The police arrested the driver for running away from them. The driver's name was not given. People who live nearby said this wasn't the first time a car crashed into a building there. Kevin Tinoco, who lives in the building hit by the car, said it was the worst crash so far. He said, "Now we lost our house from someone's mistake." The crash happened early on a Saturday morning in South Los Angeles after the police chased a driver who hit a building.
